File Management

Organize your images, chapters, and bibliography files efficiently.

The File Explorer

The left-side panel in the editor is your project's File Explorer. It shows all the files associated with your current project.

Managing Files

Create Files

Click the "New File" icon to create .tex files for chapters or .bib files for references.

Create Folders

Group related files into folders (e.g., images/ or chapters/) to keep your project clean.

Upload Assets

Upload images (PNG, JPG) or existing LaTeX files by clicking the Upload icon or dragging files directly onto the panel.

Delete

Right-click any file to rename or delete it. Be careful, deletion is permanent.

Referencing Files

When including a file in your document, use its relative path.

  • If an image is in the root folder: \includegraphics{image.png}
  • If inside a folder: \includegraphics{images/my-chart.png}
  • For chapters: \input{chapters/introduction.tex}
